1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SynthPDF at www.synthpdf.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

SynthPDF provides online PDF processing tools including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, summarising, and translating documents. Most tools run entirely in your browser; a subset use server-side processing for AI features.

3. Permitted Use

You may use SynthPDF for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms. You agree not to:

  • Upload files containing malware, illegal content, or content you do not have the right to process.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its API.
  • Use automated tools to generate excessive load on our servers.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission.

4. Your Files

You retain full ownership of any files you upload or process. For server-side tools, files are transmitted securely and deleted immediately after processing. For browser-only tools, your files never leave your device. We claim no rights over your documents.

5. Free and Pro Plans

SynthPDF offers a free tier with usage limits and a Pro subscription with higher limits and additional features. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Razorpay. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@synthpdf.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

SynthPDF is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output files will meet your specific requirements. Always keep backups of your original documents.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynthPDF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or documents.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
